Lost quotes? Confirmations in spam? SMBs suffer from email fraud<\/strong> as much as from deliverability<\/strong>issues. The solution: a well-configured SPF\/DKIM\/DMARC<\/strong> trio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPF \u2014 who is allowed to send?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Declare your senders (Microsoft 365, Google, sending tools, CRM) in a TXT record<\/strong>. Key rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 1 single SPF per domain, < 255 characters per block (use include<\/strong>), ~all<\/strong> at first, -all<\/strong> once confirmed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    DKIM \u2014 cryptographic signature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Enable DKIM in 365\/Workspace\/SMTP service. Publish the public key<\/strong> in DNS. A valid signature strengthens<\/strong> reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    DMARC \u2014 the policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Start with p=none<\/code> with reports<\/strong> (RUA\/RUF). Analyze who is actually sending.
    Steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Inventory<\/strong> all legitimate senders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Fix<\/strong> SPF\/DKIM until aligned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Move to p=quarantine<\/code>, then p=reject<\/code><\/strong> (gradual: pct=25\/50\/100<\/code>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Monitor the reports<\/strong> (DMARC tools aggregating the XML).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
